Q. Is there a waiting list?

A. It is best to call the Three Links Care Center Admissions Director to obtain this

    information.  

Q. How do I get more information or arrange a tour?

A. Contact the Director of Admissions - 507-664-8845.

Q. What does a new resident bring with them?

 A. Families are encouraged to decorate their loved ones room with personal

     belongings such as pictures, memorabilia, flowers and a comfortable chair.

Q. What can a family member do to make the transition easier?

 A. There are many decisions that go into the process of selecting a nursing

     home for someone you care for. It is normal for the family and the resident

    to experience some degree of anxiety about the move. A life change as

    important as moving into a care facility should be made as comfortable as

    possible. Family members can make the transition easiest by remaining

    informed and by proactively seeking a caring environment where the resident

    will feel most at home. The family must remain active in their loved one's life,

    visit as often as possible, bring pictures and familiar mementos, have

    conversation and attend regular family meetings that the facility may hold.

Q. What are the rates?

A. Three Links has housing and service options with varying structure and rates.

Q. What types of assistance are accepted?

A. Three Links communities participate in a varity of financial assistance programs 

    such as Medicare, Alternative Care Grant/Elderly Waiver, Medical Assistance, all

    private insurances and long-term care insurance.

Q. What will my long term care insurance pay for?

A. Some long-term care insurance policies cover skilled centers as well as assisted

    living. Policies vary, so please consult your insurance company's benefits

    administrator to determine what your particular policy covers.
